Have your say on the draft Health, Safety and Wellbeing Policy 2026

We’re inviting all staff and students to review and provide feedback on the draft policy, which will replace the longstanding Work Health and Safety (WHS) Policy and Procedures 2016. Your feedback is vital in shaping a policy that supports a safe, healthy and thriving University community.

Complete the Respect in our Community training

We all have a role to play in fostering a culture of safety, inclusion and respect at the University. The Respect in our Community training module includes new content that reflects the University’s commitment to eliminating all forms of unlawful workplace conduct. Make sure to set aside 30 minutes to complete the training by 30 June.

Support for those affected by escalating conflict in the Middle East

We're deeply concerned to see conflict escalate in Iran and the Middle East. We know this is a deeply worrying time for many and are here to support all affected staff and students. Please take care of your own wellbeing, check in on colleagues who may be finding this time particularly challenging, and continue to look out for one another during what is a distressing time for many. Wellbeing support is available for all staff, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through our staff counselling and coaching provider, Converge.

We acknowledge the tradition of custodianship and law of the Country on which the University of Sydney campuses stand. We pay our respects to those who have cared and continue to care for Country.
