Information sessions are available for different cohorts from 18 to 26 August on thesis examination functionality in the Research Education Candidature System (RECS).

There is currently an unexpected issue on our aged (Ericsson) Telephone PABX system that has resulted in some staff being unable to access their landline and/or voicemail. Staff with Cisco phones are not impacted. For assistance, affected staff can call the Shared Service Centre on +61 2 9351 2000.
The University and staff unions had a constructive discussion about casual staff entitlements, including sick leave for casual staff, and how to reduce the University’s reliance on casual sessional staff to meet our teaching load.
The Food Hub will start operating again on 16 August. It will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-2pm, with staff encouraged to donate any pantry staples and contact USU Operations with any questions.
