The University of Sydney Researcher Dashboard (DashR) is a centralised location for researchers to register details about their research projects’ data practices and request/manage associated data services.

Identity governance and administration (IGA) is a policy-based approach to identity management and access control. IGA allows the University to grant, review and remove access to systems, applications, and devices securely and easily.
IGA provides a centralised view of identity management for UniKey account provisioning and access to University of Sydney systems.
Key benefits- Streamlined onboarding process, improving the experience of people joining our University.
- Alignment between various identity source systems (Sydney Student, Human Resources, etc.) so that people have the right access at the right time, and that there is consistent information across our systems.
- Improved identity management and security – keeping our University and your information safe from cyber security attacks.
- Introduction of automated regular ‘user access reviews’ for selected key applications later in 2023.
Extro decommissioning
IGA replaced Extro, the University’s previous identity management system on 24 April 2023.

SPSS Statistics has changed names over the years. It used to be called SPSS and before that PASW Statistics.
If you’d like to access data from older versions of the tool, look into the PASW Smartreader. This program is also known as SPSS Legacy Viewer and Smart Viewer.
SPSS AMOSSPSS Amos gives you the power to easily perform structural equation modelling (SEM).
Using SEM, you can quickly create models to test hypotheses and confirm relationships among observed and latent variables – moving beyond regression to gain additional insight.

Highly Protected SharePoint is a way of setting up SharePoint sites at the University of Sydney that meet the University's security requirements for storing and accessing Highly Protected data and facilitating secure collaboration with external collaborators.
Staff should refer to this guidance when classifying their data.
