Through the Charles Perkins Centre, we aim to address the pressing problems of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease: the leading causes of mortality and disease burden in Australia.

Innovation and Technology Education Ventures (ITEV) is a strategic initiative of the Vice-Chancellor in the interest of supporting University academics and staff who are working in the innovative development and delivery of ICT-enabled professional development programs. The ITEV Inititive has been created to assess this area of development, create an infrastructure that allows academics to work more efficiently and effectively with the support of University resources, and make valuable external information accessible within the University.

The NSW Smart Sensing Network (NSSN) is a consortium of nine leading universities, headquartered at the University of Sydney. Established in 2016 by the NSW Government, through the Officer of the Chief Scientist and Engineer, the NSSN brings together universities, government and industry to translate world-class research into innovative solutions.
