Research interests include: - child development and behaviour following psychological or physical injury - molecular genetics, immunohistochemistry, and pathology in heritable disorders of connective tissue - FISH investigation of abnormal to dysmorphic syndromes - biochemistry and molecular genetics of disorders of fatty acid metabolism, mitochondrical disorders, pyridoxine-dependent epilepsy, and galactosaemia - natural history and social aspects of epilepsy - epidemiology of respiratory disease and the pharmacology of asthma - effects of growth promoting agents on small intestinal function
