The clinic was established to facilitate research conducted within the Faculty into the nature and treatment of Anxiety Disorders. Currently, access to treatment is restricted to participants in clinical research trials being conducted by our staff. See research page.
The University of Sydney, through the Sydney School of Health Sciences aims to actively contribute to the challenge presented by the World Report on Disability (World Health Organization and the World Bank, 2011) to strengthen and support research on disability for evidence informed policy and practice development. To this end a Centre for Disability Research and Policy has been established within the Sydney School of Health Sciences.
We provide speech pathology to a wide range of clients including members of the public. Our team of clinical educators supervise students to treat various communication disorders in adults and children. The CDTRC is a non-profit clinic funded by the University and clinic fees. We are open to members of the public however our clinic fees are not eligible for Medicare rebates.
