How to Add Multiple Staff Members to an Allocation in OTA

There are two methods available for adding multiple staff to allocations in OTA:

  1. Using the Multi-Allocations Button
  2. Using the Add Scheduled or Add Unscheduled Activity Buttons

This knowledge article outlines both methods to help you efficiently assign multiple staff members to an allocation in OTA.

Important Note:
The Multi-Allocations (Staff) functionality is only available for staff who have already been allocated to the Unit of Study in that semester.

  • For example, if two staff members have existing tutorial allocations, you can add their marking allocations in one go.
  • However, if you are allocating a staff member to the unit for the first time, their name will not appear in the multi-allocations dropdown.
  • Once a staff member has been allocated to their first activity, you will need to refresh the tool (by clicking the   icon) for their name to appear in the "Add multiple Staff' dropdown.
