Excessive or Unusual Hours Report

This help article provides instructions to run the Excessive or Unusual Hours Report, in OTA.

This report displays the number of allocated units to certain paycodes, per unit of study, for a casual academic. It can assist to highlight instances of:

  • Incorrect paycode allocation
  • Unbalanced allocation of work.

Report considerations:

  • Report data is not filtered according to an excessive/unusual hour criteria. This must be defined by the faculty/school when analysing the data.
  • Report only shows allocated hours with allocation statuses of either: Approved Allocation or Variation Complete.
  • Information is displayed according to the access model, i.e. You will only see information based on your level of access.

Allocated units can be expressed as hours or as a % of total units allocated to an activity type and paycode combination.
