Non-Onboarded Casual Report

This help article provides instructions to run the Non-Onboarded Casual Report.

The report displays casual academics that have been allocated work in OTA, but who have not completed the onboarding process, or have completed onboarding but are not yet matched to their HR record. It highlights where onboarding activity for identified casual academics must be completed. It’s important to note that casual academic staff that have not completed the onboarding process cannot view work allocations in OTA.

 Report considerations:

  • The report identifies where a casual academic has been allocated work in OTA but has not been linked to an associated HR record in Ascender.
  • Special attention should be given to records where the #matches column is blank to ensure the onboarding process has been commenced with HR.
  • The report is refreshed every 15 minutes, between 7am and 7pm.

The report references an OTA ID. This is an OTA specific ID that is used to uniquely identify a casual academic's OTA record (which is separate from their UniKey and Staff ID).

The below process is to be used for entering in Class View in order to add different educators to the same class in different weeks. Often, there will be different academics presenting or tutoring in different weeks.
