How do I request access to Risr Advance?

Risr Advance is a new online ePortfolio solution for students and educators who are part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health.

Risr Advance ePortfolio is being implemented in select years in the schools of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry. Risr Advance is one tool which will aid these schools to conduct programmatic assessment by: optimising the impact of assessments on learners, provide student feedback on strengths and weaknesses, improve student self-regulated learning and motivate students to focus on improvements.

Some staff may be given Risr Advance access through their school. To request access manually, read below.

 

How to use ANSYS license borrowing

When staff or students borrow a teaching license they can use it outside the University. For example, on a take home laptop.

Teaching licenses are only available on Windows machines.

Note: Even when you've disconnected from the network, you must still run the products from the same account you used to borrow the licenses.

For example, if you use a network account to borrow the licenses, you cannot then run from a local account.

How to map my network drive on a Windows PC?

Staff have access to network drives for storing personal, departmental, or RDS information. These network drives can be mapped on Windows computers.
