Add service requests to your Funding Submission Record

The Funding Submission (FS)  Record is an overarching record that consolidates support requests, contracts and approvals related to each funding opportunity in ServiceNow. That allows operators (Research Portfolio and Faculty Research Local Support to have the visibility and collaborate throughout several steps like planning, submission, acceptance and funding management.  Once an FS is initiated, you will be able to select it in several forms and link support requests under the overarching record like files under a folder.

Support requests will generate Cases and will be managed individually by the assigned team. It is important to keep communication and updates within the existing Cases, avoiding new ones. Check the below article to keep your Cases properly updated.
