Migrating Modernism: An exhibition walk through with Penelope Seidler AO
This free walk through the exhibition Migrating Modernism with Penelope Seidler AO will provide insights and stories from her partnership with the late Harry Seidler. Penelope has played a pivotal role in architecture, and has championed modernist art and culture in Australia.
Carillon recital and free tour
Carillon recitals are open for everyone to attend. You may wish to sit in the Quadrangle or the front lawn benches, bring a blanket or chairs, or simply wander around the beautiful surroundings. A free tour of the instrument and tower follows at approximately 1:45 pm.
Unlocking adventure – Creating risk-ready playgrounds
Recent Periscope Commercialisation Award recipient Nadia Odlum will join Professor Alice Motion to discuss her journey from research to market-ready solutions, including lessons learned, pivots made and the role of accelerator programs.
Secret Life of Books in the Museum: The Odyssey
This lunchtime lecture about Homer's Odyssey will explore its ancient origins, the legendary characters, its lasting influence on literature, and how it continues to shape English literature from Shakespeare to Keats; Toni Morrison to Margaret Atwood.
