Yabun Festival 2026
Yabun Festival takes place annually on January 26 and is the largest community led one-day festival of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

Staff Welcome Breakfast 2026
We invite you to gather with colleagues along University Place and on the Front Lawns of the Quadrangle for a light, healthy breakfast with beverages and exercise classes in the Great Hall. The University's health and wellbeing services will be on site for a chat, and our crowd-favourite fitness classes will once again be held in the Great Hall.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued heatwave warnings for New South Wales from 6-9 January 2026. Take precautions to manage heat safely and stay informed about current heat and fire warnings.
Viva Engage returning 19 January 2026
As we wrap up for the year, we want to inform you that Viva Engage will be taking a break during the University close down - as per last year - returning on Monday, 19 January 2026.
The platform will be unavailable during this time to allow all colleagues a chance to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the festive period. Recent news and updates will continue to be published on the Staff Intranet.

We were alerted to suspicious activity in our online IT code library. We took immediate action to protect our systems and community by blocking the unauthorised access and securing the environment.
