L’enfant et les sortilèges: NIDA x Sydney Conservatorium of Music
This NIDA and Sydney Conservatorium of Music co-production features singers and musicians from the Conservatorium, with design, set construction, costume, props and effects, and technical theatre and stage management students from NIDA. Enter the code OPERA20 under ‘If you have a password please enter it here’ and select ‘Unlock Tickets’ to access the staff discount.
Poche Centre for Indigenous Health – Annual research showcase
Open to all staff, this showcase will feature research spotlights from HDR students and senior scholars, stakeholder profiles and the Centre's future strategy. This is an opportunity to engage with the people, research, and partnerships helping to shape the future of Indigenous health.
Community Festival
A day of ideas, connection and community, the University of Sydney Community Festival will play host to live entertainment and family friendly activities, inspiring talks, hands-on workshops and guided tours – as well as great food for you, your friends and family. Provide feedback on the University’s draft Anti-racism Policy by midnight Friday 6 November
We have developed a draft Anti-racism Policy which includes definitions of antisemitism, Islamophobia and racism towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The University is required to adopt definitions of these terms by 1 January 2027. Feedback can be provided via the draft Anti-racism Policy 2026 survey.
The updated Leave Policy has been approved and is now in effect
Your feedback on the draft version helped to inform our review and ensure the University’s leave provisions continue to support wellbeing, flexibility and a diverse workforce. Read more about the updated policy.
The University is reviewing the Cyber Security Policy and is inviting feedback from staff and students by Friday 6 November 2026
The revised document has been informed by a range of initiatives, including integrating cyber risk management and reporting, due diligence, and governance improvements. Visit the Drafts for Consultation section on the Policy register page to review the draft and submit feedback.
