Join us at Fisher Library for a bespoke and intimate encounter with highlights from our collection. This discovery session is themed around 'Extraordinary Women', with items that spotlight the work and influence of significant women authors, creators and characters throughout history.
Supporting Student Wellbeing - with Batyr Youth Mental Health
This session with youth mental health specialists, Batyr, is designed to help student-facing staff support their own mental health and that of their students. In this session, staff will reflect on their boundaries and roles, explore what is within their control, and learn practical wellbeing strategies for themselves and their students.

Academic promotions for 2026
Academic staff considering applying for promotion in 2026 must discuss this with their AP&D Advisor/Supervisor, and consult with their Head of School by 31 October, before lodging a notice of intent to apply by 30 November. Learn more about the process on the Academic Promotions intranet pageand, if you're interested in applying for promotion in the next three to five years, register for the career development session on 17 November.
Fast Track Contracts has expanded
Fast Track Contracts has expanded to include research service agreements and consulting agreements. The automated contract system, designed to improve efficiency, offers a simpler approach to low-risk research projects.
