We're excited to invite you to the official launch of the Biomanufacturing Incubator followed by a networking reception.
The Biomanufacturing Incubator is a multidisciplinary initiative designed to harness the collective resources of Sydney’s research institutes. The incubator focuses on biomanufacturing, integrating advanced biomaterials and 3D bioprinting to create tissue analogues that better mimic natural tissue for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. It aims to develop innovative biomanufacturing solutions, serving as the conduit between bioengineers, cell biologists, and clinicians.
The project is led by Professor Steven Wise, cardiovascular bioengineering researcher and a National Heart Foundation Future Leader Fellow, and Associate Professor Khoon Lim, biofabrication researcher and Australian Research Council Future Fellow.

The Poche Centre for Indigenous Health and The Global Centre for Preventive Health and Nutrition (Institute for Health Transformation) invite you to a 4-day immersive workshop designed to deepen your understanding and practical skills in systems thinking and group model building (GMB).
Join us for a hands-on introduction to Group Model Building (GMB), Causal Loop Diagrams (CLDs), and STICKE- a powerful tool for systems mapping and collaborative problem-solving.
Fees
- Student: $500
- Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islander Participant: $500
- General: $800 (Early bird rate $700 until June 14)
The workshop fee includes:
- 4 day workshop led by experienced facilitators
- 12-month STICKE licence
- Catering throughout the workshop
In this interactive workshop, you will:
- Learn the fundamentals of GMB and CLDs in a supportive, practical environment.
- Gain conf idence in facilitating systems workshops using STICKE.
- Explore real-world applications of systems thinking beyond the GMB process.
You'll also have dedicated time to workshop a current project focused on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing. With guidance from experienced facilitators and support from peers, you'll strengthen your project through collaborative systems thinking.

Sydney Anxiety and OCD Conference will discuss cutting edge research in the field of anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders and trauma related disorders. It will have both a biological and psychological focus with the presenters and attendees coming from psychiatry, psychology, medical and social science backgrounds. This is the second Sydney Conference on Anxiety and Related Disorders with the first held at Nepean Hospital in 2010.
The conference has the following specific aims:
- To stimulate research endeavours for anxiety and OCD in Australia
- To enhance collaborative efforts to better treat anxiety and obsessive-compulsive and related disorders
- To be informative to clinicians who treat patients with anxiety disorders
- To improve standards of clinical practice for the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders

This session with youth mental health specialists, Batyr, is designed to help student-facing staff support their own mental health and that of their students.
In this session, Emma will explore the psychological state of flow and its impact on mental health. Drawing on the latest research, including findings from her own studies on flow proneness and wellbeing, Emma will discuss the benefits of flow, as well as practical strategies to cultivate flow state and enhance overall health and wellbeing.
We’ve identified a sophisticated phishing campaign using QR codes that is targeting staff within our organisation. The attacker is using deceptive tactics to bypass traditional detection methods including QR codes.

The Camperdown Campus boardwalk will be closed for three weeks from Monday 30 June to undertake risk reduction works and make a safer campus for our staff and students.
