Servicenow Upgrade - 2025 Washington to Yokohama upgrade schedule

The annual ServiceNow upgrade is scheduled for the weekend of 24-25 May 2025. To comply with ServiceNow's support policy, the University has to upgrade our ServiceNow instance to Washington DC version.

A project team has commenced to perform a series of tasks to conduct upgrade activities using ServiceNow recommendations and best practice. Below is a high level schedule of the upgrade project. 2025 ServiceNow Upgrade - Washington to Yokohama

The annual ServiceNow upgrade has been scheduled to be released to the University community on Monday 26 May 2025. In this upgrade we will be moving from the 'Washington' version of ServiceNow to 'Yokohama'.

Current features and functionality are expected to remain in the new Yokohama version. As per previous years, this version introduces enhancements to performance and security of the platform.

Spend Plan App - complete an aquittal milestone

Acquittal milestones must be set up and completed before changing, renewing, terminating or finishing a spending plan. These milestones must contain (attached) the completed acquittal documents for reference by other Spend Plan administrators, Trusts Office or on request by other parties such as the GAB or auditors.

How do I install and use the Campus Cisco VPN Client on my computer?

The University of Sydney provides a Cisco VPN client, allowing you to securely connect your computer and mobile device to the University network if you are off campus. This is intended for staff and students to access network or application resources that are only available on campus.

Please note that the product has been rebranded from Cisco AnyConnect to Cisco Secure Client.

What happens to my phonebook entry when I leave?

In most instances, phonebook entries are automatically removed. For non-staff and groups, phonebook entries need to be addressed manually.

Spend Plan App - delete a file from a spend plan
