MFA OKTA - Set up Google Authenticator as your primary factor

Okta is the University's primary multifactor authenticator. Where your smartphone operating system cannot support Okta Verify, you may be able to use Google Authenticator as your primary factor in place of Okta. Please refer to the setup guide for Okta Verify to view all MFA options available.

This guide will assist you through the setup process after you have requested that Google Authenticator be your primary factor and the Shared Service Centre have enabled your account. Once you finish setting up Google Authenticator as your primary factor, don't remove the app from your smartphone - you need this to log into University services.

Get help from the Service Portal

Staff and students can use the Service Portal to lodge requests, search for answers to common questions, and connect with other University services.
