Potential graduand checking

Faculty Services, Division of the Academic Registrar, provides a centralised service to identify and confirm lists of potential graduands.

Process overview

Process step Responsible
1. Run report to identify students close to completing course Faculty Services
2. Check if students' majors and specialisations are sufficient for graduation Faculty Services
3. Update status for qualifying students in Sydney Student Faculty Services
4. Run job after results posted to notify eligible students Student Records
5. Commence award process

What’s our role?

  • Retrieve lists of potential graduands
  • Assess eligibility for award
  • Process potential graduands in Sydney Student
  • Forward to faculty for decision (those requiring Deans Certificate)
  • Notify student records of eligible students
  • Monitor late results
  • Communicate with the student including responding to any Tier 2 enquiries and assist with Tier 3 enquiries
