The online polling tool Mentimeter is now available for all University of Sydney staff.
Mentimeter can be used to provide instant feedback during lectures and classes, or embedded on Canvas to provide interactivity during asynchronous online learning.
You can use Mentimeter to build questions, polls, quizzes or even design slides, with images, gifs and more for an engaging and fun presentation.
When you present, your audience uses their smartphones to connect to the presentation where they can answer questions, give feedback, and much more. Their responses are visualised in real time, creating a unique and interactive experience.
Once your Mentimeter presentation is over, you can share and export your results for further analysis and even compare data over time to measure the progress of your audience and sessions.
To get started with your University of Sydney Mentimeter account, register via https://www.mentimeter.com/app/join/sydneyuni.
